Phlexglobal have developed a specific end-to-end process for the scanning and indexing of clinical research documentation. The quality control and regulatory compliance (validated system, audit trail) associated with the process is the key differentiating factor.

scanningservicesAccurate preparation is the key to success in scanning clinical trial documentation. Phlexglobal have a team of experienced document administrators with clinical trial documentation knowledge to perform this task. Preparation involves the removal of all paperclips, staples, plastic wallets, and the division of the documents.

The entire scanning process is controlled by a trained scanning operative to ensure accurate and high quality scanning of each document, in accordance with the accepted guidelines and maintaining colour and greyscale. Scanning is routinely done at 300dpi, duplex to produce PDF/a documents. Document enhancements (border removal, de-skew, separation and sectioning) and optical character recognition (if required) take place after the scanning process. We use InputAccel for all scanning processes and ensure WORM data of raw scanned images is captured for audit purposes.
