Phlexglobal wins landmark deal with UCB for global electronic Trial Master File solution |

7 September 2009 - Phlexglobal, the UK-based specialist support Contract Research Organisation (CRO), has signed a landmark contract with global biopharmaceutical company UCB to implement a complete trial master file management solution.
The new contract is worth £12 million, over the next five years, and will see Phlexglobal employ up to 30 new staff. Nicola Murgatroyd, Phlexglobal's founder and chief executive officer, commented: "The UCB contract win is a major achievement for Phlexglobal and will support our rapid expansion, both in the UK and US."

Nicola Murgatroyd, instrumental in pioneering the role of the Clinical Trial Administrator (CTA) and founder of specialist CRO Phlexglobal, is presenting at a workshop on the evolving role of the CTA next month.
The CTA Workshop, entitled The Whole Picture, is part of the Institute of Clinical Research's (ICR) Maximise Your Potential series and will be held at the institute's headquarters in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire on Friday, May 8.

Triple Win for Phlexglobal CTAS |

Phlexglobal is celebrating a triple success after three of its Clinical Trial Administrators (CTA) took first, second and third places at the PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year 2008 awards.
The three Phlexglobal CTAs - Jenna Ashley, Nicky Hooker and Nicola Rand - collected their awards in the Clinical Trial Administrator of the Year 2008 category at the glittering awards ceremony at the InterContinental in London last week.
More than 800 entries from 39 countries were received for the CTA of the Year category including Phlexglobal finalist Kelly Greer and winners Jenna, Nicky and Nicola. All four of the Phlexglobal finalists are currently working in clinical research positions within large pharmaceutical companies, uniquely managed as part of Phlexglobal's client insourced team.
