| Summary | Are you an experienced Research Nurse looking for your next challenge? Based in London, our client is currently looking for a Senior Research Nurse to work effectively as part of a team, to carry out and complete clinical studies. The Research Nurse needs to be an organised, logical, enthusiastic and methodical worker with the will to succeed. It is a challenging position that requires experience, knowledge and determination. | ||
| Description | Responsibilities: • To provide a high standard of individualised nursing care for all subjects that take part in a research study by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for subjects undergoing study specific procedures. • Reviews the informed consent with the subject prior to the subject undergoing formal consent procedures with the investigator; • Preparation of samples for analysis; including labelling, documentation, tracking and release forms regarding samples; • To educate, inform, and assist subjects taking part in research, and associated procedures, and to act as the subject’s advocate at all times. • To produce and maintain precise study records in accordance with ICH GCP. • To act as study site co-ordinator as required. • To be able to work autonomously and as part of the nursing team. • Attend sponsor initiation, monitoring, and close out visits • Analyse projected study timelines and subject screening estimates, and schedule sufficient Clinics to meet appointment demand; • Record subject information into the source documentation and transcribe into the CRF (the latter when no data entry staff are assigned to study); • To report any problems to the Senior Clinical Research Nurse or the Head of Clinical Operations in his/her absence. • Provide training to nursing staff in regards to RVL-specific procedures All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
