| Summary | This is a 6 month contract position with a global pharma company. You will be required to provide medical and scientific support to healthcare professionals and professional bodies through scientific communications and support for clinical research to facilitate a medical and scientific bridge between the client and the healthcare community. To provide specialist medical and scientific advice to colleagues to drive the appropriate use and commercial success of nominated client medicines. | ||
| Description | Major Role Responsibilities: • Sign-off and approval of marketing materials or activities • Provision of medical insight and expert opinion as appropriate • Attendance at meetings requiring medical input, support or representation • Input and guidance to clinical trial activity and the management of independent research grants and associated budgets • Supports colleagues (marketing, medical and field-based medical) • Reviews and inputs to regulatory documents, strategy and pharmacovigilance matters as appropriate • Liaises with customers to ensure adequate scientific communication with key opinion leaders and potential users Key Accountabilities: • Clinical Plan Development; provide medical and scientific input into protocol feasibility assessments for clinical trial proposals and identify appropriate investigators/sites client sponsored trials • Support for Investigator Initiated Research; work with colleagues and lead protocol review and submission of investigator initiated research to global and European brand team for nominated products Medical and Scientific Relations; provide medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals in response to their requests for client to present clinical data about marketed products and important scientific information on new products or those in development • Additional support; Provide therapy area insight and product training to aligned members of clinical research, medical information regulatory affairs to facilitate their interaction with customers and external agencies Required Experience/Qualifications: • Medical Degree • Knowledge of GCP and pharmaceutical industry experience • Computer literacy (word processing and spreadsheets) • Full driving licence This is a 6 month contract initially.
