Career Paths
At Phlexglobal we recruit for a wide variety of roles within the clinical research industry. The starting point for many people entering this industry is as a Clinical Trial Administrator. For people who want to progress their career, it can be difficult to work out what training to focus on and what experience to try and gain in order to have the right knowledge and skills to move on in the industry.

"This industry offers superb opportunities whether your career aim lies in the administrative field as a Career CTA or as an entry level graduate looking to move into Monitoring or Project Management; the sky really is the limit for those looking to get on." Nicola Murgatroyd, Founder and CEO of Phlexglobal Ltd.

The speed at which the industry moves and roles evolve, change and emerge can make this even more complex. Our history and experience in this industry has given us the knowledge to create a number of career paths which outline the typical steps someone would take whether they want to follow the Clinical Trial Administrator route; or the steps that you would take to become a Clinical Research Associate or a Clinical Project Manager.

More information about the CTA role can be found in The Voice, which is a useful resource for information. The Voice is a magazine published bi-annually and distributed to secretaries, administrators and clinical trial administrators working in clinical research. It is administered by Phlexglobal on behalf of the CTA community.
